AI-Powered Features

Our App uses Google Gemini AI to generate meal plans based on your recipe preferences and household needs. When using AI features:

• Your recipe preferences, dietary restrictions, and household information are sent to Google's Gemini API in a non-personalized manner
• This data is processed to generate personalized meal plans
• We do not store conversation history with the AI
• Google's privacy practices apply to data processed by Gemini AI (see Google Privacy Policy)

Third-Party Authentication

We use Google Sign-In for authentication:

• We receive basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) from Google
• We do not have access to your Google password
• Your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Privacy Policy

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Payment Processing

• All purchases (subscriptions and one-time payments) are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information
• Payment information is handled entirely by Apple or Google
• Your purchases are subject to Apple's or Google's payment terms and privacy policies

Purchase Information We Receive

• We only receive confirmation that a purchase was made
• Subscription status (active, expired, cancelled)

Household Sharing

• Information you add to a household (recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, notes) is visible to all members of that household
• Household members can see each other's names and email addresses

• Google Cloud Platform: For hosting our backend services
• Google Gemini AI: For generating meal plans (as described above)
• Apple/Google: For purchase validation and subscription management
